Horse Kick Cider 2018 Vintage (75cl). British-made at Chasemore Farm in Surrey, this award-winning craft cider is made from 100% apple juice using one of the only horse driven apple presses in the UK. Fermentation is from the wild yeasts on the apple skins, creating a wonderful depth of flavour. The cider is matured in oak barrels: ex-white wine (Pinot Gris) and ex-whisky (Laphroaig) giving two very different finishes. After several months of maturation the cider is bottle conditioned. At no stage are sulphites or preservatives used, meaning that a natural sparkle develops inside the bottle. Horse Kick Cider is unfiltered and unpasteurised with no added anything; Apple cider the way Mother Nature intended.
