Horse Kick Cider… apple cider the way Mother Nature intended
Horse Kick Cider
Our aim is to produce a high quality, natural product using the techniques of old. The result is a slightly effervescent, cloudy apple cider that resonates with the oak in which it matured. The cider is unpasteurised, unfiltered, has no added sugars, flavourings or colourings. In short… apple cider the way Mother Nature intended.
Horse Kick Pinot Gris Oak 2018
Horse Kick Cider 2018 Vintage (75cl). Locally made at Chasemore Farm in Cobham, this award-winning craft cider is made from 100% apple juice using one of the only horse driven apple presses in the UK.
Fermentation is from the wild yeasts on the apple skins, creating a wonderful depth of flavour. The cider is matured in oak barrels: ex-white wine (Pinot Gris). After several months of maturation the cider is bottle conditioned.
At no stage are sulphites or other preservatives used, meaning that a natural sparkle develops inside the bottle.
