Horse Kick Cider… apple cider the way Mother Nature intended
Set up in 2016, Horse Kick Cider Ltd is a cottage craft industry producing small batches of traditional, oak aged cider at Chasemore Farm in Surrey.
The Wine Reserve
Horse Kick Cider is sold by a local prize-winning independent wine merchant in Cobham.
Tom the Stallion
Each Autumn, fresh apples are pressed by Tom the Stallion, using one of the only horse-driven apple presses in the country. Autumn is otherwise a quiet time of year for Tom, and driving the cider press is a job he is very fond of.
World Horse Welfare
We support World Horse Welfare, an international horse charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning, and hands-on care.
Horse Kick Cider 2016
The first batch of Horse Kick has been fermented in New Zealand Pinot Gris barrels.
The sharp apple bite is balanced beautifully by the richness of the wood, imparting wonderful wine like complexity and subtle notes of sweet spice.
